Hello crafty friends! Are you feeling down today? I hear it is Blue Monday! What will they think of next? Anyway, I thought I would pop in today to
tell you about some of the forthcoming classes I have booked to teach in case
you fancy trying something new or developing your skills. What better way to cheer yourself up in this
grey weather than with a little bit of sewing.
All of the following classes will
be held at Millie Moon, a fantastic haberdashery in Frome, Somerset. All of the below prices include materials,

Quilting Masterclasses
I am running a series of
masterclasses, all of which are short two-hour events focused on one or two
quilting skills. They cost £65 for all
three or they can be booked individually for £25 per session. The dates and topics are:
Thursday 25 January 2018 10.30 –
12.30 How to Cut and Piece
Thursday 1 February 2018 10.30 –
12.30 How to Quilt
Thursday 8 February 2018 10.30 –
12.30 How to Bind a Quilt
Mini Quilt
On Saturday 24 February 2018 I will
be teaching a workshop that will cover all of the skills needed to make a
quilt. Between 10.30 and 15.30
participants will make a mini quilt, learning how to cut and piece, quilt and
bind. This is a great way to try a new
skill on a small scale. This workshop
costs £50.
Beginner’s Baby Quilt
Want to make a baby quilt but
don’t know where to start? Well why not
join me for a beginner’s quilting class where you will make a beautiful baby
quilt. Split across two sessions you
will learn the basics of quilting and make a lovely yet practical gift for the
small person in your life. The course
will take place on Thursday 8 and Thursday 15 March 2018 and costs £90. NB this course isn’t currently available for
online booking so please call to book your place.
